On completion proceed to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, you can cycle your way through this ancient city if you wish to, your guide will assist you to purchase the bicycles.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Kandy, en-route visit Sigiriya rock fortress the most famous sight in the cultural triangle which provides amazing views of the surrounding wilderness once you reach the top.
Thereafter, you will visit the spice garden in Matale, famous for spices. For centuries, spices have been one of Sri Lanka's celebrated exports.
On completion of the garden tour, visit the ancient Aluviharaya Temple in Matale and proceed to Kandy and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

After breakfast at hotel, proceed for a mind relaxing morning trek in Udawattakele Sanctuary, situated on the hillside behind the Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Tooth Relic.
Thereafter, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. It is located in the royal palace complex which houses the Relic of the tooth of Buddha.
