DAY 1: AIRPORT | COLOMBO

Welcome to Sri Lanka. As you set foot on this beautiful island, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative of Hayleys Tours and transported in an air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Colombo.

Thereafter, you will embark on a Colombo Tuk Tuk safari where you will spend the afternoon visiting Arcade Independence Square, the Gangaramaya Temple and the National Museum concluding your day with a shopping experience.

DAY 2: COLOMBO | NUWARA ELIYA

Get ready to transition from humid weather to a chilly climate in just a few hours. You will travel to the hill station of Nuwara Eliya today. The "little England" of Sri Lanka which is home to many tea estates manufacturing the best-flavoured tea, immense fields of beautiful flowers and cultivations of vegetables. In the evening, you'll stop by at a tea factory to discover more about the process of transforming fresh tea leaves into delightful sips of tea.

DAY 3: NUWARA ELIYA SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, you will be taken on a sightseeing tour, visiting the famous Gregory Lake and the Hakgala Gardens.

The Gregory Lake area has many recreational activities after its recent face-lift and is a popular tourist spot. The Hakgala Gardens was established in 1861 as an experimental cultivation of Cinchona, a commercial crop thriving at the time in Nuwara Eliya. Today, Hakgala gardens is one of the most captivating sights that should not be missed.

DAY 4: NUWARA ELIYA | UNAWATUNA

Today, you will travel to Unawatuna, en route visiting the famous Ravana Falls in Ella.

Ravana Falls is must-visit location in Ella. The Hill Country of Sri Lanka is renowned for its magnificent waterfalls and Ravana Falls is right at the top of the list, ranked as one of the widest Falls in the country.

DAY 5- 7: UNAWATUNA

Spend the days relaxing at the sunny beaches of Sri Lanka and taking an optional tour to the famous Galle Dutch Fort.

The Unawatuna beach is lively, a place to enjoy many a sunset drink. The beach swing at the Wijaya beach, which is around the corner, is considered to be one of the most Instagram-worthy places in Sri Lanka.

DAY 8: UNAWATUNA | COLOMBO

After breakfast, you will return to Colombo and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Colombo is a busy, vibrant city with a mixture of modern life and colonial buildings and the main city is home to a large number of Sri Lanka's corporate offices, restaurants and entertainment venues. Colombo is also a shopper’s paradise, with many branded wear available at a fraction of the price!
