Points of Interest - Mannar
Mannar Fort
Fort in Mannar is in close proximity to the Pearl Banks, built by the Portuguese. The Dutch took over the Fort in 17th Century and eventually taken over by British in 1795. Present day only the remnant of four upholders can be seen of the Fort.
