On arrival at the Colombo Airport you will be welcomed by a representative of Hayley’s Tours who will accompany you to your air-conditioned vehicle. Sit back, relax and enjoy the drive passing paddy fields, woodland areas, marshes and right into the rural heartland of tropical Sri Lanka. Spend the rest of the day relaxing, exploring your surroundings.

Following breakfast, you'll leave on a cycling tour of Anuradhapura. This city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and its ruins are a hint of the architectural marvels of this ancient Kingdom.
After sightseeing the wonders of Anuradhapura, you'll be taken to Mihintale, for more.
Overnight in Habarana.
Your tour today will start early in the morning, where you will visit one of Sri Lanka’s most famous landmarks, the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. The Lion Rock is said to be the 8th wonder of the world!
You will also go on a cycling tour of Polonnaruwa, a city with ruins of majestic palaces, king’s council halls and Buddhist shrines.
Overnight in Habarana.
After breakfast, you will visit the Dambulla Cave Temple. Dambulla, a UNESCO listed site, is part of the Cultural Triangle. Later on, you will be taken to Kandy, visiting a spice garden in Matale, en route.
In the evening, you will visit the Temple of the Tooth, ‘Dalada Maligawa’ which houses Buddha’s tooth relic.
Overnight in Kandy.
After breakfast, get ready for a spectacular experience. Today, you'll be driving down to the station to hop onto a train to travel towards Nuwara Eliya. During this picturesque train ride you’ll get to see tea pluckers hard at work at the tea plantations dotting the mountainside and feel the change of weather from mildly hot to chilly. Once you arrive at the Nanu Oya station, it’s just a 15-minute drive to Nuwara Eliya.
Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
With a packed breakfast, you'll visit the Horton Plains National Park, where you can hike to the World's End. Located at an altitude of over 2000 metres and covering an area of 3160 hectares, the scenery here is incredible. The 9-kilometre trek will take approximately 3 hours to complete, and cover both Mini World's End and the famous World's End.
Overnight in Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast tomorrow, you'll be travelling to the Sinharaja Forest. This drive will take approximately 6 hours, so you will check-in at your hotel and go to bed early in preparation for the long day of trekking.
Overnight in Deniyaya.
After an early breakfast leave for an excursion to the Sinharaja Forest Reserve. Declared a Biosphere Reserve in 1978, it became a UNESCO national heritage wilderness site in 1988.
Later, you will leave for the International Airport for your departure flight from Sri Lanka or you may choose an optional beach holiday extension and visit Sri Lanka’s beautiful coastline. Journey times vary depending on your chosen hotel and may take up to 5 hours.
