DAY 01: AIRPORT | KANDY

Once you arrive at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative of Hayley’s Tours who will escort you to your vehicle. You will then proceed to Sri Lanka’s hill capital, Kandy.

In the evening, you will visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic (Dalada Maligawa). It is based at the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy and houses the tooth relic of the Buddha.

DAY 02: KANDY | HABARANA

After breakfast, you will take off on a Kandy city tour.

Thereafter, you will leave for Habarana visiting a popular spice garden with authentic Sri Lankan spices in Matale, en route. You will get the opportunity to observe first hand why Sri Lanka’s international reputation for spices continues to this day.

DAY 03: HABARANA | SIGIRIYA | MINNERIYA | HABARANA

Your tour today will start early in the morning, where you will visit one of Sri Lanka’s most famous landmarks and UNESCO-listed rock fortress, Sigiriya.

Thereafter, you will be taken on a game drive through the Minneriya National park.

DAY 04: HABARANA | HIRIWADUNNA | PASSIKUDAH

After breakfast, you will leave for Kandy, en route visiting the Hiriwadunna Village. This is an authentic rural experience with bullock carts and lush vegetable cultivations. The greenery, the farmer's "wattle and daub" homes, and the paddy fields will add to your rural experience.

Thereafter, you will travel to Passikudah for your long awaited beach stay and spend the rest of the day by the pool.

DAY 05-06: PASSIKUDAH

Spend the rest of the days relaxing by the beach.

Famous for its stretched shallow coastline, Pasikudah makes a great spot for sunbathing and shallow swimming - the perfect beach destination for family holidays. The Pasikudah beach is mesmerizing- sky-blue waters and white, sandy beaches are hard to stay away from.

DAY 07- 08: PASSIKUDAH | ARUGAM BAY

After breakfast, you will travel to Arugam Bay- one of the best beaches for surfing in Sri Lanka.

DAY 09: ARUGAM BAY | GAL OYA | ARUGAM BAY

After breakfast, you will spend the day at the hotel.

In the evening, enjoy a safari at the Gal Oya National Park. You will take a boat ride to an island within the reservoir known as the ‘Bird Island’ and then catch a glimpse of the elephants and leopards by jeep later on.

DAY 10-11: ARUGAM BAY | TANGALLE

After breakfast, you will leave for the South Coast and check in to the hotel at Tangalle, home to many lovely beaches: Medaketiya, Medilla and Maralolliya beaches in the North of Tangalle and Pallikaduwa and Goyambokka beaches on the South side of town.

DAY 12: TANGALLE | COLOMBO

After breakfast, you will leave for the bustling city of Colombo. Thereafter, you will explore the commercial capital of Sri Lanka in its famous Tuk Tuks.

DAY 13: COLOMBO | AIRPORT

Today as per the flight details, you will be transferred to the Colombo Airport via Express Way to catch your flight back home, taking with you all the happy memories of this tropical island paradise once known as Taprobane.
