Day 1: AIRPORT | MILLENNIUM ELEPHANT FOUNDATION
Ayubowan!
Welcome to Sri Lanka. After arriving at the Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative of Hayley’s Tours. You’ll then travel to the historic city of Kandy. En route, you will stop at the Millennium Elephant Foundation, where you will spend some time in the company of these gentle giants.

Day 2: KANDY
After breakfast, you'll embark on a Kandy City Tour. Kandy is surrounded by hills, with a serene lake situated at the heart of the town, with the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic and the Royal Botanical Gardens in its folds. Explore Kandy's colonial history and visit the British Garrison Cemetery, the Kandy Gem Museum and enjoy a traditional dance performance in the evening. .

Day 3: NUWARA ELIYA
A trip to Sri Lanka will not be complete without visiting Nuwara Eliya. Today, you will escape to the cooler climate there, passing several breathtaking waterfalls. Nuwara Eliya – ‘Little England’ is home to lush tea plantations, misty forests and verdant hills.

Day 4: NUWARA ELIYA CITY TOUR
After breakfast, explore the tea capped hill country, sprawling Botanical Gardens, visit a Tea Factory and many more scenic locations in Nuwara Eliya. Discover more about tea cultivation, stroll around the hill country station while visiting the Nuwara Eliya Post Office which looks just like a British countryside post-office, and Lake Gregory - a great place to relax or engage in fun activities.

Day 5: BENTOTA
Today, you will be head towards the sunny Bentota beach. En route you will stop at the Mlesna tea centre to sip some fresh Ceylon tea and to catch a glimpse of the Devon Falls, named after an English coffee planter. This breathtaking waterfall is also known as the “Veil of the Valley” because of its extraordinary formation with an intense height of 97 meters. You will also get a glimpse of the St. Clair’s waterfall, also known as the ‘Little Niagara of Sri Lanka’ - one of the widest and most beautiful waterfalls in Sri Lanka.

Day 6: LEISURE
Your last day in Sri Lanka will be relaxing at your beach resort. You have the option of going on a boat ride on the Madu River. The Madu River is dotted with dense mangrove islands.

Day 7: AIRPORT
Sri Lanka is rich in culture, exotic beaches, remarkable wildlife, rain forests and breathtaking mountains and you have experienced its wonders for the past 6 days. Today, you will be taken to the airport to catch your flight back home, filled with happy memories. Have a safe flight!
