Thereafter, you will be visiting the famous Dambulla Rock Cave Temple. The beautiful Royal Rock Temple complex sits about 160m above the road in the southern part of Dambulla. Five separate caves contain about 150 absolutely stunning Buddha statues and paintings, some of Sri Lanka's most important and evocative religious art.

Your tour today will start early in the morning, you'll be visiting one of Sri Lanka’s most famous landmarks, the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. This enormous rock hill was formed from the magma of an old volcano. The Lion Rock is said to be the 8th wonder of the world! It is also Asia's best-maintained city of the first millennium.
You'll be continuing on a sightseeing tour of Polonnaruwa, a city with ruins of majestic palaces, king’s council halls, royal tubs and ruins of Buddhist shrines. Explore the grandest ruins and archaeological sites, with many UNESCO appeals.

After breakfast, you will be taken on a safari at the Minneriya National Park, yet another haven for the elephants that migrate from surrounding jungles to enjoy the lush grass fields on the banks of the Minneriya reservoir, during the dry season. Reports of elephant sightings range from a mere 100 to an astounding 700.
Thereafter, you will proceed to Passikudah for your long awaited beach stay. Famous for its elongated shallow coastline, Pasikuda makes a great spot for sunbathing and shallow swimming - the perfect beach destination for family holidays.

After breakfast, you will be visiting the Adam's Bridge, also known as Rama's Bridge or Rama Setu, which is a chain of limestone shoals, between Pamban Island, also known as Rameswaram Island, off the south-eastern coast of Tamil Nadu, India, and Mannar Island, off the north-western coast of Sri Lanka. Geological evidence suggests that this bridge is a former land connection between India and Sri Lanka.

After breakfast, you will visit the Royal Botanical Gardens which includes more than 4000 species of lovely flowers, herbs and tall trees; it is renowned for its collection of orchids. Located in Peradeniya near Kandy, the gardens are noted for its rich and varied collections of tropical woody plants. Occupying 59 hectares (146 acres), it has about 4,000 species of plants.
Thereafter, you will be taken to watch the famous Kandy Cultural show.

Get ready to traverse from the humid weather to a chilly surrounding in just a few hours. You will proceed to the hill station of Nuwara Eliya today. The "little England" of Sri Lanka, home to all the tea estates manufacturing the best-flavoured tea, an immense field of beautiful flowers and vegetables. In the evening, you'll also be stopping at a tea factory to witness and discover more about the process of transforming the fresh tea leaves into delightful sips of tea.
