DAY 01: AIRPORT | DAMBULLA
Ayubowan!
Upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International airport, you'll be met by a representative of Hayleys Travels. After all the customs at the airport are done with, you'll be proceeding to Dambulla.
Check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 02: DAMBULLA ROCK CAVE TEMPLE | MINNERIYA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you will be visiting the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple. The beautiful Royal Rock Temple complex sits about 160m above the road in the southern part of Dambulla. Five separate caves contain about 150 absolutely stunning Buddha statues and paintings, some of Sri Lanka's most important and evocative religious art.
Thereafter, you will be taken on an exciting exciting jeep safari to the Minneriya National park. Minneriya is yet another haven for the elephants that migrate from surrounding jungles to enjoy the lush grass fields on the banks of the Minneriya reservoir, during the dry season.

DAY 03: DAMBULLA | HIRIWADUNNA | MATALE | KANDY
After breakfast, you will proceed to Kandy, en route visiting the Hiriwadunna Village for an authentic Sri Lankan experience. This is a typical countryside experience with bullock cart rides and rural vegetable cultivation. Witness the lush rural vegetable cultivations, the farmer's "wattle and daub" house, the paddy fields.
Thereafter, you will be visiting one of the famous spice gardens, renowned for its authentic Sri Lanka spices in Matale. Over 15 different spices call Sri Lanka home and many of them are traded in the international spice market. On completion, proceed to Kandy and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 04: TEMPLE OF THE TOOTH RELIC | ROYAL BOTANICAL GARDENS
After breakfast do some sightseeing including a visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a vital Buddhist site that contains a tooth of Buddha which was collected from his funeral pyre also, this beautiful temple holds great ancient history and artefacts.
Thereafter, visit the Royal Botanical Gardens which includes more than 4000 species of lovely flowers, herbs and tall trees, it is renowned for its collection of orchids or you can enjoy the cultural dance show at 1700 hours.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 05: KANDY | COLOMBO CITY TOUR | BALAPITIYA
After breakfast, you will proceed to Balapitiya enroute taking a Colombo city tour, exploring the bustling commercial hub and the capital city. You will be visiting the Nelum Pokuna, Arcade - Independence Square, Pettah Floating Market, Gangaramaya Temple, Galle Face and concluding with a shopping experience at Odel and Laksala.
Thereafter, proceed to your exciting beach stay in Balapitiya.
Overnight stay at Shinagawa Beach.

DAY 06- DAY 08: SHINAGAWA
Spend the rest of the day at leisure by the beach/Pool and enjoying the facilities at the hotel.
Overnight stay at Shinagawa Beach.
DAY 09: BALAPITIYA | AIRPORT
Today as per the flight details, you will be transferred to the Colombo Airport via Express way to catch your flight back home accompanied with all the happy memories of the tropical isle; Sri Lanka once known as TAPROBANE.
